Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in the renewable energy sector.
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
You will carry out planned maintenance inspections, fault finding, corrective maintenance repairs, and advanced diagnostics. Additionally, you will help develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and mentor team members.
Key responsibilities include working collaboratively to ensure optimal plant performance, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance at all times, and assisting with electrical and mechanical maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation
* Experience in the solar or BESS renewable energy sector (desirable but not essential)
* Valid QLD Electrical Licence, Valid Driver's Licence, Current LVR/CPR certificate, First Aid certificate
* Trade certificate or equivalent experience
* Valid driver's licence; high-risk work licences (forklift, heavy vehicles, booms, telehandler) desirable
