Business Analyst – Strategic Procurement and Compliance Frameworks, Brisbane, Contract
Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for translating complex policy into actionable system functionality? We are seeking a Principal Business Analyst to join a key project team focused on the development and implementation of systems under a Strategic Procurement and Compliance Framework. In this role, you will lead critical business analysis activities, ensuring the successful design and integration of systems that support procurement reform initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior stakeholders and ICT experts to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
* Lead requirements‐gathering workshops with stakeholders to identify and document comprehensive business and system requirements.
* Map current and future‐state processes to support the design and implementation of systems under the PAM Framework.
* Develop and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation to guide system development.
* Act as the primary liaison between policy, ICT, and operational teams to ensure seamless system integration.
* Oversee data profiling, cleansing, and migration activities while managing the execution of test strategies and UAT.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
* Extensive experience in business analysis, specifically leading requirements gathering and process mapping.
* Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes across diverse groups.
* Advanced analytical and problem‐solving skills, including experience with data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.
* Proven experience in developing and implementing test strategies, plans, and leading user acceptance testing.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Must be a Brisbane based candidate with unlimited working rights.
