Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver | Casual
An opportunity exists for a highly motivated, professional presented individual with a good work ethic to operate as a warehouse/logistics assistant/removals and delivery driver based out of our Mt Hawthorn Warehouse.
This role will report to the Warehouse Manager and will be an addition to the expanding casual team.

The Role
Casual, position with weekly hours anticipated to be up to 38 per week with potential to for extra hours during peak seasons and covering annual leave periods.
Driving of the company truck or hire truck
Loading and lifting of furniture in and out of the truck with utmost safety and care
Complete all labour requirements at the warehouse and client project sites (onsite)
Safe and careful delivery of furniture to client project sites and customers' homes
Collection of furniture back to the warehouse from client project sites
Provide trades services such as hanging mirrors and artwork to walls
Assembly of furniture onsite and in the warehouse
Receipt of deliveries into the Warehouse
Checking of goods for damage and reporting information
Pick and packing of shipping online orders
Prepare client orders ready for delivery
Assisting with stocktake
Actively checking on stock levels/inventory and report to Warehouse Manager
Ensure storage of furniture in Warehouse is neat, clear and accessible
Picking up supplies needed as directed by the Warehouse Manager
Picking up the truck as/when needed
Assist in the repairs of furniture
Driving the forklift as needed
Skills and Experience
Experience in Warehouse/logistics/furniture removalist/delivery driver experience – (desirable)
Availability between Monday – Friday 7am -5pm or part thereof
Forklift licence – (desirable)
LR or MR licence – a bonus
White card – (desirable)
The ability to lift up to 30kg
Driving a truck/van
Team Player is a must
Reliable and professional attitude
Adaptable and Flexible
We are looking for individuals with:
Availability between Monday – Friday 7am -5pm or part thereof
Available on short notice would be ideal
Construction white card – desirable
Previous experience of warehousing or deliveries – desirable
