They currently have exciting opportunities available for motivated and experienced Personal Home Care Workers and Domestic Assistants to join their teams in Goulburn.
The Community Support Assistant provides safe and high-quality care and services to the older person and /or persons with a disability working across a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide client care in a safe manner as directed by supervisor and as detailed in care plan
* Ensure all clients are respected and provide them with social, personal care and domestic assistance
* Safely transport individuals to approved appointments as required
* Provide daily progress notes on exception reporting as required - including communication of observations, feedback and documentation of any change in behaviour, physical and emotional well-being or functional ability, any unusual actions, or reactions of clients
* Build great relationships with family members
* Assist with new employees if required and available
* Undertake any duties as required if service needs change
* Actively participate in orientation, training, meetings, workshops and ongoing learning activities as part of a professional development curriculum
* To undertake and actively participate in probation check-ins and reviews and in our annual development plan as per organisational policies
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support / Community Care (or similar) Not required for DA
* Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (or willing to obtain)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (not required for DAs)
* Police Clearance
* Drivers Licence
