Rapidly expanding land right-of-way consulting firm in California is seeking a Title ExaminerAnalyst to work within a high-profile electric utility support division. Under general supervision, the Examiner will perform detailed analysis of electric utility rights-of-way in connection with electric distribution construction projects, transmission line corridors and other land rights projects. The Examiner will also perform research on existing and proposed electric utility easements, permits, deeds and other entitlements as it relates to land title matters. Produce a variety of comprehensive reports involving opinions, provisions, restrictions, and other terms relative to the land rights of the company. Obtain and analyze various maps, documents, recorded information etc. from in-house and outside title plants to verify, plot and determine the land rights of the company. Plot easement rights-of-way on a variety of proposed engineering plans and as-built drawings. Prepare reports after conducting thorough analysis of land rights. Must be able to commute to Pomona 2 days a week.
Skills Required
2+ yrs of exp performing advanced land title and property analysis functions. Knowledge of surface title principles and terminology. Able to interpret title reports, deeds and plot right-of-way boundaries.
