Details A North Western VIC hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine from 11/06/2026 to 06/07/2026.
Block 5: Monday 29th June – Wednesday 1st July. Mon 29 Jun 2026 1330-2330; Tue 30 Jun 2026 1100-2100 Non In Charge + Medical On Call (0800-0800) NEO RESUS ONLY; Wed 1 Jul 2026 1330-2330.
Block 6: Monday 29th June – Saturday 4th July. Mon 29 Jun 2026 1100-2100 Non In Charge + Medical On Call (0800-0800) Patients
Block 7: Saturday 4th – Monday 6th July. Sat 4 Jul 2026 0800-1800; Sun 5 Jul 2026 1100-2100 Non In Charge + Medical On Call (0800-0800).
Emergency Department SMO – In Charge
Must have experience working in charge
Must have a currency in Advanced Life Support training
Must be Neonatal Resuscitation confident
$2,800 p/day increased rate
On Call Shifts:
For general medicine admissions, escalations and emergencies (MET and Trauma calls, code blue, etc.)
Hours: 0800-0800 (24hrs)
Daily rate is inclusive of on call shifts and recalls
