The Role
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at one of our key sites in Farrer, ACT.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our customers in aged care and values a well-run kitchen.
Job Description
What This Role Involves:
Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site managementStock ordering, rotation and stocktaking Adherence to food hygiene & safety practicesDemonstrable team management, development & leadershipAssisting the broader team as requiredRegular client meetings and dietary updates
Desired Skills And Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentFood Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site managementStrong communication skillsPride in personal appearance & hygiene
