About The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at a leading public dental service, reporting to the Head of Unit, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS).
You will be responsible for providing specialist OMS services within the scope of a publicly funded dental service, including patients with disabilities and complex medical histories.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing direct, quality patient care in accordance with clinical standards and policies.
* Managing patients within competency and experience levels.
* Undertaking clinical supervision/direction/support of surgical registrars and house dentists.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need:
* Specialist qualification recognised with AHPRA.
* Knowledge in the management of dental public health programs.
* Experience in providing clinical leadership and supervising clinical duties of staff.
* Experience in treating clients with high needs.
