Reception services (including, but not limited to) meeting and greeting of visitors, answering and appropriately directing incoming telephone calls, and assisting with enquiries where possible and appropriate.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the staff at the Practice and deliver high quality customer service to patients.
Meet the needs of day to day requirements. This includes maintaining patient flow; greeting patients, recording and updating patient information and ensuring a smooth journey to and from the reception area, consulting and treatment rooms.
Co-ordinate patient booking system and contact booked patients to remind them of their appointment and confirm their attendance.
Maintain responsibility for informing patients of practice policies, with particular reference to appointments and billing.
Triage patients and ensure that patient's needs in terms of immediate and ongoing care are met before and after each consultation.
Communicate effectively with all team members, external providers and patients and ensure patient and practice correspondence is dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
