Operations Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, service, cost, and productivity targets are met.
* Lead a team of supervisors, inventory controllers, administrators, and storepersons to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality logistics services that meet customer expectations and operational standards.
The successful candidate will have proven experience leading warehouse teams and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced 3PL environment.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations to achieve safety, service, cost, and productivity targets.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop your team to foster engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with CEVA's safety, quality, and operational standards through regular audits and reviews.
4. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory management and reporting to support operational decision-making.
5. Resource Planning: Collaborate with site managers and functional leads to optimize resource planning and workflow efficiency.
6. Customer Service: Communicate with customers to ensure service levels are met and opportunities for improvement are identified.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing 3PL contracts and leading teams across warehouse operations.
* Comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and systems.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate others.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset.
