About the Role
With a strong NDIS and disability focus, this role is challenging and rewarding, offering scope for development and the diverse application of professional skills and experience. The role involves a varied caseload of client conditions, including adult and paediatric patients, with a focus on communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
* Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
* Design, trial and implementation of low‐ and high‐tech communication devices
* Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans
* Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties
* Coordinating with other allied health professionals and GPs
* Provide education to clients, families, the community and other practitioners/staff
