Permanent | Community & External Relations Team | Start February 2026

At SXGC, we're entering a defining phase of our journey.

As our Sunday Creek project continues to progress in regional Victoria, the way we communicate with our communities matters more than ever. Clear information. Strong relationships. Consistent follow-through.

This is your opportunity to play a visible, meaningful role in how SXGC connects with the people around our operations.

Why SXGC?

Because communication builds trust.

At SXGC, we believe strong community relationships are built through transparency, respect and consistent engagement — not just messages, but actions.

If you thrive in a growing, fast-moving environment where accountability, organisation and collaboration matter — you'll feel right at home.

About the Role

As Communications Coordinator, you'll support the delivery of SXGC's communications, community engagement and external relations activities across our Sunday Creek project.

Coordinating day-to-day communications activity, including social media, newsletters and website updates

Preparing and distributing community notices, updates and materials

Coordinating logistics for community meetings, information sessions, events and site tours

Supporting Community Reference Group, council and stakeholder meetings — agendas, minutes and actions

Maintaining accurate engagement records, contact lists and documentation

Supporting community grants coordination and engagement reporting

Liaising across internal teams to gather inputs, images and approvals ________________________________________

Who You Are

You're someone who brings organisation, reliability and follow-through. You enjoy working with people, managing details and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Your Background

Experience in communications, coordination, administration or a customer-facing role

Strong attention to detail and disciplined organisation skills

Confident using digital tools and social media platforms

Clear, professional written and verbal communication

Comfortable working in a lean, evolving environment
