Our water group has secured multiple long term framework contracts and significant career defining major projects with key water authority clients across Australia and locally in South-East Queensland. This has created a great opportunity for experienced Senior to Principal Project Managers with a passion for delivering water infrastructure solutions to join our Water Group based in our Brisbane or Gold Coast offices.
In this role you will:
Work closely with our senior team of experienced engineers, project technical leads, design managers and other project managers to continue our excellent project delivery track record.
Successfully deliver complex projects, working within high performing interdisciplinary teams and contributing to the financial success of a business.
Contribute to decision making and challenge how our projects are being delivered.
Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.
Develop strong working relationships with clients by delivering valuable business solutions and understanding the client’s business.
Contribute to a positive team culture and support the development of junior staff
To be successful for this role you'll need:
Tertiary qualifications in engineering (or associated disciplines).
Demonstrated delivery capability and track record
Demonstrated project team leadership skills
Solid technical understanding of water infrastructure preferred, including some or all of the following:
Water and sewerage networks.
Water and wastewater treatment plants.
Dams and pumped hydro infrastructure.
General civil heavy infrastructure
Project Management qualifications/certifications preferred (e.g. Project Management Professional) or working towards the attainment of a recognised qualification / certification.
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with a high level of financial competency.
Strong ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients to meet their objectives.
Ideally experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
