We invite applications from suitably qualified and passionate teachers to join the Genesis teaching community in a Film & Television / Media teaching role. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who brings both expertise in the subject area and a genuine commitment to inspiring and engaging secondary students. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong understanding of Film and Media education, with experience delivering high-quality teaching aligned to the QCAA syllabus and the Australian Curriculum. A passion for contemporary pedagogy and the ability to design meaningful and relevant learning experiences will be highly valued.
This is a permanent, Full-Time position to start as soon as possible.
To be successful, you will have:
* Demonstrated experience teaching in a secondary School setting
* Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices and effective assessment strategies
* Familiarity with the QCAA syllabuses and the Australian National Curriculum
* Experience in developing and delivering curriculum programs that meet national requirements.
* Current First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work proactively within a collaborative teaching team
* An active Christian faith and a commitment to modelling Christian values in the classroom
In addition, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and ethos of an Independent Christian School, an ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues, and the capacity to produce high-quality written reports and documentation.
