The Role
We have an exciting role available as a Teacher, Nursing team, at TAFE Queensland's Toowoomba Campus (potential travel required across the region). As a TAFE Teacher in Nursing, you will have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge with students in a classroom or other educational setting. This position is a temporary part‐time (0.5 FTE) role available until 30 June 2027, unless otherwise determined, and reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $46,465 – $61,042 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
Qualifications and Credentials
* Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
* Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided.
* Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency‐based training and assessment.
* Current AHPRA Registration.
* Current Queensland driver's licence.
* Current Blue Card or exemption card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement), to comply with the Working with Children Check Act 2000.
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor.
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor.
* TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.
* TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development.
* A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials:
o TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor.
o TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor.
* A higher‐level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
Highly Desirable
* High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online learning management systems).
* Industry currency – experience in clinical role (minimum 5 years).
* Experience with clinical teaching.
