About My Support My Way (MSMW)
My Support My Way is a leading NDIS-registered provider dedicated to helping participants navigate their "special path" with tailor‐made services. We pride ourselves on a compassionate, person‐centred approach, supporting individuals with physical, neurological, intellectual, or degenerative ailments. As we expand our reach across South Australia, we are seeking a dynamic, highly organised leader to drive our growth while ensuring our operational governance remains the gold standard in the sector.
The Role
This is a critical, high‐impact hybrid role with two distinct pillars: driving business growth and enforcing strict organisational compliance.
On the Business Development side, you will identify new business opportunities, build robust referral pipelines, and act as the primary face of MSMW in the community to convert leads into real service outcomes.
On the Senior Compliance side, you will work closely with Senior Management to ensure absolute adherence to corporate governance and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements. Your ultimate goal here is to keep People with Disabilities (PWDs) safe and continuously improve service quality. You will be the central hub for compliance, ensuring all mandatory registers are meticulously maintained, directing the Compliance Admin, and collaborating deeply with stakeholders to ensure participant plans are safely and effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance, Governance & Quality Assurance:
Regulatory Leadership: Work directly with Senior Management to enforce governance frameworks that strictly meet NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, prioritising the safety and well‐being of PWDs.
Register & Records Management: Oversee the maintenance of all organisational compliance registers (incidents, feedback, continuous improvement, restrictive practices).
Internal Coordination: Direct and collaborate with the Compliance Admin to ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly administrative compliance tasks are executed flawlessly.
APO/ARO Liaison: Coordinate closely with the organisation's Authorised Program Officer (APO) and Authorised Restrictive Practices Officer (ARO) to ensure all specialised supports and restrictive practices are highly regulated, reported, and compliant.
Plan Implementation Oversight: Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and families to ensure all participant plans are being actively, safely, and compliantly implemented.
Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement:
Strategic Business Growth: Identify and secure new participant intakes for services, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Assistance with Daily Living, and Social/Community Participation.
Referral Pathways: Build and nurture robust relationships with Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), Legal Guardians, Plan Managers, and Allied Health professionals.
Market Leadership: Represent MSMW at community forums and networking events to increase brand visibility, service awareness, and trust in the disability support sector.
End‐to‐End Pipeline: Oversee the initial enquiry‐to‐onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and empathetic experience for participants and their families.
About You
Expertise: Minimum 3+ years of experience in the NDIS sector, demonstrating a proven track record in business development/growth targets AND quality assurance/compliance management.
Regulatory Mastery: Deep, practical understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards, Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, incident management, and reporting protocols.
Sector Knowledge: Thorough understanding of NDIS funding categories, pricing arrangements, and the end‐to‐end participant journey.
Leadership & Coordination: Highly organised with the ability to manage administrative staff (Compliance Admin) and collaborate effectively with specialised roles (APO/ARO) and Senior Management.
Communication Pro: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship‐building skills. You are a natural networker who inspires trust and authority.
Compliance Ready: Must have (or be willing to obtain) an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
