We are seeking a seasoned mechanical design expert to spearhead the development of our patented technology and explore new markets through innovative product design, prototyping, and testing.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fluid mechanics, electromechanical devices, and complex engineering problem-solving. They will be responsible for leading product development, mentoring junior engineers, and presenting technical data to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include designing and analyzing complex fluidic components and systems, overseeing system integration, developing computational fluid dynamics models, and planning and executing tests to validate system performance.
Required skills and qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, at least 9 years of experience in fluidics, mechanical packaging, and mechanical system technologies, and expertise in system design, analysis, and validation, advanced fluid dynamics, modeling and simulation, and testing and validation.
Preferred qualifications include rocket propulsion experience, complex control systems knowledge, materials science expertise for extreme environments, additive manufacturing experience, and industry certifications. Additional requirements include excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
