About the role
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day packing operations and providing clear direction to a team of operators. You will ensure production schedules, operating instructions, and shift tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and regulatory standards.
Roster: rotating 12-hour shifts across a 24/7 operation.
Location: Northern suburbs, Brisbane.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and site quality standards.
* Supervise automated packing lines to achieve throughput, efficiency, and OEE targets.
* Optimise labour allocation and support effective shift handovers.
* Work closely with maintenance on fault‐finding and troubleshooting.
* Coach, develop, and manage performance of packing operators.
The ideal candidate
* Leadership within a process manufacturing or automated packing environment.
* FMCG, food manufacturing, or packaging operations (highly regarded).
* Mechanical aptitude with exposure to automation, sensors, PLCs, or fault‐finding.
* Working collaboratively with maintenance, QA, and logistics teams.
* Continuous improvement frameworks such as LEAN, TPM, or 5S.
* Strong communication, judgement, and people leadership capability.
