We are seeking a passionate and experienced Raypirri Rom Programs Manager on a full-time, fixe term role until 30 June 2026 to lead the delivery of the Raypirri Rom programs at Miwatj Health. This role provides leadership and support to Team Leaders and plays a key part in ensuring programs are delivered in a culturally safe, respectful and effective way that reflects the Raypirri Rom ethos. The Manager will oversee program performance including budgets, KPIs, monitoring and evaluation, and ensure compliance with Commonwealth Government funding agreements and reporting requirements. The role also supports staff development, particularly within the Yolngu workforce, provides guidance on program activities and client referrals, and represents Miwatj Health in stakeholder engagement to advocate for the Raypirri Rom programs and the communities we serve.

What we’re looking for in you!
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates a strong understanding of, and commitment to, Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination, with an appreciation of the challenges faced by Yolngu people living in remote communities. The successful applicant will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in community services or a related field and have proven leadership experience, including the ability to manage budgets and meet reporting requirements. Experience working in a remote Aboriginal community or Aboriginal Medical Service is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, particularly in cross-cultural environments, are essential. The role also requires a current National Police Clearance, Working With Children Clearance and a valid NT Driver’s Licence.familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Adaptive Insights and a willingness to continue professional development, will be highly regarded.
