The person:
The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail is a must, as is the ability to work independently. Integral to this role is the ability to maintain customer personal and financial confidentiality.
Experience with Xero Practice Manager, Ignition, Audit Shield, Wix, NowInfinity, ATO online services and Microsoft Office will be highly regarded. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience working in an accounting or professional services environment.
The role:
This is an office-based role with flexible work schedule (15 hours per week across 3-4 days). This position works closely with the Director and other Accountants to provide prompt and professional service to our client base. A competitive salary will be offered in line with experience. A full handover will be provided by the current role incumbent to assist in ease of transition into the new role.
Duties include:
• Corresponding with clients via phone and email as well as arranging meetings using MS Booking App.
• Liaising with ASIC, ATO and stakeholders on behalf of clients, and processing ATO correspondences
• Corporate Affairs Management (ACIS, ASIC, NowInfinity)
• Processing Tax Audit Insurance renewals
• Website maintenance as well as website and social media management
• Drafting invoices and producing client engagement proposals
• Maintaining client files and database
• Reception and general administration duties as required
