Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer
Base pay range: A$120,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr
Overview
If you are an experienced Executive Assistant looking for a role that offers more than day-to-day support—a role that is strategic, influential and genuinely meaningful—this is one to explore. About the role
Working side by side with the CEO, you will provide executive, operational and strategic support across the organisation. You will help drive key initiatives, coordinate leadership and Board activities, and create structure around priorities so the CEO can focus on impact, growth and stakeholder engagement. Your role will be central in connecting strategy, people and delivery, ensuring everything moves with rhythm, clarity and purpose.
Responsibilities
* Provide proactive and strategic support to the CEO including diary and priority management, meeting coordination and communications
* Partner with the CEO and leadership team to track progress on business initiatives and strategic objectives
* Coordinate Board and Committee requirements including agendas, papers, minutes and action items
* Prepare and review high quality presentations, reports and correspondence
* Act as a trusted liaison for Directors, senior leaders and external stakeholders
* Maintain governance records and ensure key business documentation is accurate and accessible
* Assist in planning and delivering major organisational activities such as Strategy Days, Board sessions, AGMs and stakeholder engagements
About you
You are more than an exceptional organiser. You are commercially aware, emotionally intelligent and thrive in fast-moving environments where you can play a meaningful role in progress.
* Minimum five years experience supporting C-suite executives
* Background in financial services or professional services is ideal
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect operational and strategic priorities
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, guide and build trust
* Calm, proactive and solutions-focused, especially under pressure
* Warm, collaborative and personable, someone who brings professionalism and personality
