Take on a leadership role in one or more areas: cyber security operations, governance, strategy, or program portfolio management. Contribute to delivering secure, compliant, and reliable systems that support business objectives.
Lead and influence the strategic and technical direction for cyber security across the organization, driving change and continuous improvement in cyber resilience capabilities while managing threats and risks to safeguard people, information, assets, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement appropriate security standards and IT security controls in accordance with Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
* Promote and implement new security capabilities to meet organisational requirements and ensure compliance with government security policies.
* Engage with internal stakeholders and IT service providers to ensure compliance with legislative, contractual, and policy obligations.
* Develop robust policy and strategic advice supporting adherence to security frameworks and protecting ATO and taxpayer information.
* Lead and deliver cyber education and awareness initiatives to foster a positive security culture across the organisation and APS.
