The Coordinator of Nursing and Midwifery is a key position responsible for providing expert clinical and corporate leadership and consultancy across nursing, midwifery, and multidisciplinary teams. The role collaborates to achieve strategic objectives and goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Provides high-level expertise in clinical and corporate leadership and consultancy
\
* Collaborates with teams to achieve strategic objectives and goals
\
* Leads the day-to-day coordination and governance of services within the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Directorate
\
* Works with clinical and non-clinical staff to effectively direct and manage human, financial, information, and material resources
\
* Enhances the organization's capability to meet both WNHS and Department of Health and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
\
* Operationalizes innovative and contemporary practice/models of care and manages risk
\
* Ensures adherence to organizational policies and values
\
* Develops and implements strategies to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
\
* Collaborates with stakeholders to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
\
* Provides coaching, mentoring, and guidance to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
\
* Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to nursing and midwifery practices
