Are you passionate about ICT support and delivering exceptional customer service? Randstad is recruiting on behalf of EDConnect, Service & Channels, seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Wollongong as a Service Desk Analyst

This is your chance to be the crucial first point of contact, resolving technical issues and connecting customers with the right solutions.


The Opportunity Awaits

* Role: Service Desk Analyst (First-Level Technical Resolution)
* Business Unit: EDConnect, Service & Channels
* Duration: 12 January June 2026, with a possibility of extension
* Pay Rate: $35.15 per hour


Work & Location

* Location: Wollongong (Office & Work From Home Hybrid Model)
* Hours: 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week
* Shift Roster: Rotational shifts (7.5 hours including an unpaid lunch break) between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
* Training: Mandatory 1-2 weeks of on-site training is required.
* Post-Training: Transition to a 50% Office & Work From Home hybrid model or 100% Office, dependent on performance during training.


Key Responsibilities


You will be the vital link between our customers and technology, providing first-level resolution for all reported ICT-related incidents. This involves working collaboratively with internal technology units to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.


Your Desired Skills & Experience


We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a strong alignment with the core elements of the role, particularly in customer service and technical support:

* Customer Service Excellence: A strong focus on delivering a high level of customer service.
* Technical Troubleshooting: Experience in troubleshooting basic ICT hardware and software.
* Service Desk Experience: Demonstrated operational service desk or contact center experience.
* Communication: Ability to clearly communicate and convey technical information to customers.
* Outcome Delivery: Proven ability to successfully deliver outcomes to an agreed schedule.
* Bonus Skill: Preferred (but not essential) knowledge of the Remedy helpdesk framework.
