Overview
Career Medical Officers in Emergency Medicine at a Rural Referral Hospital are required to deliver excellence in clinical care every patient, every time.
As part of a dedicated team of emergency specialists, you will promote seamless continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient services.

Adult Medical services include respiratory, cardiac, chemotherapy, renal and palliative care.
Surgical services include general, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology and ophthalmology.
Qualifications Required
* Qualified medical practitioner holding General Registration or eligible for General registration in Australia with at least three years post-graduate experience and appropriate training and experience.
* Appropriate training and experience to work towards a leadership role in the ED, including being in charge of night shifts, with direct support from Consultant FACEMS staff on other shifts.
* High level skills and involvement in clinical care, supervision, mentoring and teaching. Able to exercise a moderate degree of professional independence.
* Demonstrated skills in and commitment to improvements in clinical care, patient safety and risk management processes, including the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams to achieve change.
* High level interpersonal communication and team skills.
* Effective communication skills for working within healthcare organisations and the outside community, including capacity to use electronic communications effectively.
* Evidence of participation in continuing professional development.
