About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires an experienced mechanical engineer to oversee and mentor a team of engineers.

As the Team Lead Mechanical Engineering, you will be responsible for leading small project teams, providing strategic direction for project delivery, and ensuring the successful delivery of our major works program.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, providing leadership, guidance, and fostering a culture of engagement.
\
2. Coordinate and manage team resources, ensuring priorities and workloads align with project goals.
\
3. Lead the execution of major refurbishment projects, providing oversight from initial planning through to final completion.
\
4. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including project managers, site-based leadership teams, contractors, and other disciplines of engineering teams to ensure project success.
\
5. Mentor and guide engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous professional development.
\
6. Lead efforts to address skills gaps, process improvements, and project documentation challenges.
\
7. Foster high-performance teams to drive successful project outcomes.
\
8. Provide strategic direction for project delivery and ensure the successful delivery of our major works program.
\
9. Travel to different locations to execute projects and collaborate with stakeholders.
\
10. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all project activities.
\
11. Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the team.
