Key Requirements
* Certificate III: Must have a Certificate III in Personal Care, Aged Care, Community, or Individual Support.
* Experience: A minimum of six months paid experience working in residential aged care.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
* Empathy: A genuine sense of empathy and compassion for the elderly is a must.
Your Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high‐quality care and support to older Australians living in residential aged care facilities. Your duties will include assisting with daily activities, personal hygiene and supporting a multi‐disciplinary team.
* Providing assistance with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
* Supporting a multi‐disciplinary care team and liaising with health professionals.
* Maintaining a supportive and respectful environment for residents.
* Adhering to and promoting best practice care guidelines.
