We're on the look out for a capable and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our Brisbane team during a pivotal period of growth and development. L+R provides multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy services to private, corporate and government bodies in both local and interstate markets and has established and enviable reputation for the quality of our services.
About the Role
This is a broad and rewarding administrative role, supporting our Civil Engineering and Traffic & Transport teams, while also working closely with our national operations team. It's ideal for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy, and who can confidently prioritise, follow through, and help others do the same. A key part of the role involves working within a business-wide software system, so being confident using IT platforms and learning new tools is essential. There's also room to shape the role based on your strengths and interests, with opportunities to contribute to internal initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Civil & Traffic divisions and Executives.
* Handle key administrative accounts-related tasks, including generating and issuing invoices, purchase orders, expense claims and debtor management.
* Coordinate fee proposals, tenders, quotes, and maintain professional communication with clients and suppliers.
* Manage documentation and communications relating to subconsultant agreements.
* Maintain and organise electronic databases, filing systems and manage archiving.
* Support the continued development and management of Quality and OHS systems (ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018).
* Identify and implement opportunities for improved processes and efficiencies.
* Support initiatives that foster a positive team culture, enhance internal communication, and contribute to an engaging and collaborative workplace environment.
Qualifications and Skills
To Thrive in this role, you'll need to be:
* An experienced administrator with 4+ years in a professional office environment (industry experience is desirable)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* A confident communicator with strong organisational and time management skills
* An enthusiastic, energetic, and quick learner
* Experience using Netsuite highly desirable
