Commercial Opportunities Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Opportunities Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role that offers the opportunity to work with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic advice and support in connection with contracts, including drafting and reviewing change control notices, research, and contract interpretation.
* Establish and maintain excellent business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Handle new and add-on business with existing customers based on current Master Agreements or Government Panel Contracts.
* Develop and execute negotiation strategies that minimize potential losses and benefit the organization's financial performance.
* Monitor deadlines on deliverables and communicate with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.
* Provide ongoing expert advice to account teams regarding legal and commercial implications of specific terms and conditions in contracts.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Laws or other Bachelors' degree, diploma, or certifications, and government or major corporation experience.
* Contract and commercial drafting and assessment experience, including client engagement.
* Experience working on IT integration contracts or construction-style contracts would be highly regarded.
* Australian Government contracting experience, including government clearance, would be advantageous.
