HumeLink West ProjectTwo CIMIC Group companies, UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the ~140km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project.HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW that will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia’s eastern states. HumeLink is one of Australia’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.The HumeLink West scope of works, worth $1.4bn, includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Construction Administratorto join the HumeLink West team. Please note this is a Wagga Wagga based role Key Accountabilities General administrative duties including filing, taking meeting minutes, record keeping, managing email correspondence Assist with preparing, formatting and collating reports, publications and presentations Data entry and assistance with document control Invoicing and raising purchase orders for the team Ad hoc administrative tasks as required Liaise with the Construction team and the wider business to meet project objectives in line with role requirements About You Previous experience in an administrative capacity, with a keen interest to work within the construction industry Highly organised and able to multi-task quality and timely deliverance of administrative duties Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a dynamic team environment that provides ad-hoc challenges Tech savvy and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.Where applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
