The APS 4 Inventory Officer role is an integral part of the Warehousing and Distribution team, collaborating with a diverse workforce to provide logistical services to Defence in South Australia.
This position requires effective task monitoring, direct support to the Inventory Manager, and assistance with inquiries from regional dependencies. The successful candidate will oversee warehouse and distribution functions, ensuring timely responses to requests or support requirements.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Monitoring group tasking or requests to the unit
* Direct support and reporting to the Inventory Manager
* Assisting with warehousing & distribution inquiries from regional dependencies
* Overseeing warehouse and distribution functions, ensuring timely responses to requests or support requirements
* Coordinating the disposal of Commonwealth-owned equipment according to relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
* Supporting operations and dependencies within the region requiring Warehouse and Distribution assistance
