Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain critical backend services and infrastructure components using TypeScript and Node.js. Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, focusing on automation and efficiency. Deploy, manage, and optimise services within a large-scale AWS environment, leveraging a wide range of AWS services. Participate in the design and implementation of robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance. Collaborate with development teams to provide infrastructure support and guidance, ensuring smooth integration and deployment processes. Contribute to the implementation and enforcement of security best practices across the backend infrastructure. Actively engage in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to development workflows. Participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and adhere to established coding standards and best practices. Continuously learn and improve your skills in backend development, DevOps, and infrastructure management. Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 5-6 years of hands-on experience in backend software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure management. Solid understanding of backend development concepts, including API design, data management, and system architecture. Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS. Familiarity with infrastructure as code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on internal stakeholder support. Understanding of security best practices within cloud environments.
