* Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and Specialist Registration with AHPRA
* Advanced Trainees anticipating Fellowship within the next 12 months are also encouraged to apply.

About Us
HNEMH provides a wide range of mental health services throughout the Hunter New England Health district, supported by over 1,600 staff. Our care spans all ages and levels—from early intervention to inpatient and community-based recovery services. We're dedicated to providing person-centred care, advancing research, and fostering education and training across all disciplines.
Locations
* Manning Mental Health Service (Taree): Inpatient care at Manning Hospital and a range of community services
* Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service: Inpatient care at the Mater Mental Health Centre in Waratah and community services across Newcastle and Charlestown
Our services are structured by geographic areas and age groups—child & adolescent, adult, and older persons—and are supported by skilled multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, registrars, allied health, nurses, and administrative staff. Consultants work collaboratively and may provide peer support and cross-cover across the Greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions.
