Role Responsibilities Project Management
* Manage Project Managers, Engineers and contractors to deliver assigned projects.
* Ensure project outputs are delivered meeting Design, Quality and HSSE requirements.
* Ensure compliance with HSSE procedures and identification and mitigation of all HSSE risks in accordance with agreed procedures.
* Review and provide input into key proposals before they are issued to clients to ensure they are realistic, achievable, and profitable.
* Completion of all ERP reporting.
* Achieve a high level of client satisfaction evidenced by on-time completion and handover to the customer support team.
* Completion of project monitoring and reporting using project management and safety management tools.
Solutions Development
* Review detailed design with Project Managers to ensure site implementation is achievable.
* Prepare and review the scope of works.
* Provide technical and installation support and guidance to project managers and contractors.
* Suggest and implement process and product improvements to maintain market-leading position.
People Management
* Lead by example, influence and motivate the project team to drive performance, efficiency, autonomy and employee satisfaction.
* Ensure the team successfully delivers project outputs and manages accountability for project team and subcontractors delivering on time and within budget.
* Ensure employees have the necessary tools and resources to work as efficiently and effectively as possible.
* Consistently follow HR processes, including conducting performance reviews, one-on-one coaching and training sessions, and defining individual career paths.
Key Communications & Working Relationships
* Take and manage directions from your manager.
* Liaise with senior representatives of potential and existing customers.
* Build relationships with all team members across the Energy Solutions team.
* Establish and foster quality inter-departmental relationships across Strategy, Trading, Retail and Legal.
* Engage with energy market operators, government regulators, network operators, suppliers and installers.
About You Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Advanced project management skills with experience delivering Solar, BESS, and EV Charger projects.
* Experience with HSSE, risk management and contract management.
* A strong network of key stakeholders within the solar and renewable energy sector.
* An understanding of energy use and energy markets in Australia.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Clear, professional and articulate communication.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* High levels of initiative.
* Effective team player.
* Willingness to travel.
Qualifications & Licences
* Trade-qualified A grade electrician (desired but not essential).
* CEC accreditation for solar design of grid-connected and off-grid systems (desired but not essential).
* CEC accreditation for Grid-connect Battery Storage design and installation (desired but not essential).
