Details: We're looking for librarians who love connecting people to ideas and knowledge, promoting lifelong learning, and fostering a love of reading.
We need people who are confident talking about books, helping others with technology, answering information requests, working with collections, and delivering programs for children, young people, or adults. They must be able to work collaboratively and build productive relationships with staff, customers and other library stakeholders.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
An ALIA-accredited undergraduate or postgraduate university qualification in library and information science, acceptable for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association, is mandatory.

Visa holders are eligible to apply for both permanent and temporary roles. Those with eligible visas may be considered for permanent employment, while individuals with temporary residency or limited-duration visas may be offered permanent employment for the duration of their visas.
This is a rostered position requiring working weekday, weekend, and evening shifts.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill librarian vacancies over the next 12 months.
