This position involves a multi-disciplinary team approach, building quality support services around participant needs and goals. We aim to improve independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing for our clients.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be part of a dynamic team making a difference in people's lives. You will work with a varied caseload, assessing and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and meet their objectives. You will also mentor early-career clinicians, ensuring awareness of current legislation to maintain compliance.
You will bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organisational skills to this role. Successful candidates will provide supports for NDIS participants residing in various locations. You will receive structured supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities, as well as a fun and dynamic work environment promoting growth and learning for all teams.
* Manage a designated caseload based on negotiated hours and deliver timely therapeutic services.
* Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant's unique needs.
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and achieve their goals.
* Mentor and nurture early-career clinicians.
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
