Alltruck Bodies is a national leader in the design and manufacture of rigid truck bodies, supporting customers across Australia with high-quality, reliable transport solutions. As we continue to expand our Victorian and Queensland operations, we are seeking an accomplished Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead our end-to-end supply chain strategy and elevate our operational performance.
This is a key executive role responsible for shaping the future of our supply chain, strengthening supplier partnerships, driving digital transformation, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials across a complex, high-SKU manufacturing environment.
About The Role
Reporting to the CEO and COO, you will lead the full supply chain function including planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution. You will drive strategic initiatives that improve cost efficiency, service reliability, sustainability, and operational excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a high-performing supply chain and procurement strategy aligned to business goals
* Lead demand planning, forecasting, purchasing, logistics, and fulfilment
* Build a strategic sourcing model that improves cost, quality, and supplier performance
* Optimise inventory, reduce waste, and improve OTIF/DIFOT outcomes
* Drive digital transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives
* Partner with Engineering, Production, Finance, Sales, and Quality to support operational excellence
* Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain and procurement team
* Champion sustainability, governance, risk management, and ESG compliance
About You
You are a strategic, commercially minded supply chain leader with deep experience in manufacturing environments. You bring strong analytical capability, proven supplier development experience, and the ability to lead both transformation and day-to-day operations.
You will bring:
* 10+ years' senior supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing
* Strong procurement, negotiation, and supplier management capability
* Expertise in forecasting, inventory optimisation, and logistics management
* Experience managing long-lead-time suppliers and high SKU volumes
* Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills
* Experience with ERP/WMS systems and advanced Excel
* A collaborative leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset
