Key Responsibilities
* Complete thorough assessments and create personalized care plans with residents and care teams.
* Provide high-quality clinical care, manage medications, and respond promptly to health changes.
* Liaise effectively with families and relatives regarding resident care.
* Collaborate with other teams to support residents' overall wellbeing.
* Supervise, support, and delegate tasks to care staff.
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a valid CPR Certificate.
* Experience in aged care or dementia care (desired) with strong clinical assessment skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
* High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with care.
* Strong time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including in emergency situations.
* Proficiency in electronic healthcare records and documentation systems.
