Store Manager – Fresh Produce Focus (The Village Greens, Brunswick Heads)

We’re on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our Brunswick Heads location — a site where freshness, community connection, and excellent service are at the core of what we do.
🌿 What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the store, with a robust focus on the produce department
- Maintaining high standards of freshness, presentation, and stock rotation in all fruit and vegetable displays
- Providing exceptional customer service and fostering long-term local relationships
- Leading and developing a passionate team — from hiring and training to mentoring and daily oversight
- Managing inventory and supplier relationships, particularly for produce and fresh foods
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant store environment
- Monitoring store performance, controlling expenses, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
What You’ll Bring:
- 3–4+ years of experience in retail or hospitality management, preferably with fresh food or produce experience
- A passion for fruit and vegetables and a sharp eye for quality and detail
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage a small, high-performing team
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Financial understanding, including stock management and cost management
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment and juggle competing priorities
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
Position Details:
- Immediate Start
- Salary: $65K–$70K (depending on experience)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm
