Job Description
The Store Operations Manager is a key role that reports to the Long Life/Fresh Food Department Head. This position is classified as Level 3, 4 or 5 in the store's organizational structure based on team size. In the absence of the Long Life/Fresh Food Department Head, the Store Operations Manager reports to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Manage store resources effectively and monitor staff execution of tasks.
* Assist with employee onboarding and training.
* Ensure adherence to operational procedures and communicate incidents to the Store Manager.
* Hold master keys and be available for emergency callouts.
* Maintain visual merchandising standards across the entire store.
* Ensure accurate inventory management, stock control, and receiving processes.
* Communicate essential information to team members.
* Follow company policies and procedures.
* Perform special tasks as specified by the Store Manager.
