Key Role
This position combines project leadership with rigorous scientific and engineering contributions, managing and delivering projects from hypothesis-led experimentation through to compliant product development and regulatory strategy.
You will lead teams of specialists, conduct laboratory and prototyping work, and apply hypothesis-driven experimentation to test, validate, and refine concepts.
Fundamental to this role is a deep understanding of R&D operations, including project management and organizational skills, basic soldering and electronics prototyping abilities, and experience working in a chemistry lab environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of 2–5 years of real-world industry experience in R&D, engineering consulting, product development, or medtech/related fields.
* Strong background in chemistry handling and laboratory safety, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Full working rights in Australia and a driver's license are also required.
