ICT Officer

Wunan Foundation is a leading Aboriginal development organisation based in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Its purpose is to ensure that Aboriginal people enjoy the capabilities and opportunities necessary to make positive choices that lead to independent, fulfilling lives.
We are seeking an ICT Officer to work across all of our operations. The ICT Officer supports the Finance team to identify, develop, and implement solutions across a range of ICT and Asset functions including smooth operation of ICT systems, hardware, and software, as well as maintaining an accurate asset inventory, including procurement, allocation, and disposal of ICT-related assets.
Key Duties
* Provide technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network issues.
* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, and other IT equipment.
* Support and assist the GM Finance and ICT maintaining End to End points, including, implementing IT policies.
* Provide training to staff on new systems, software, or technology tools.
* Maintain and update the organisation’s website and manage cloud-based services.
* Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all ICT-related assets and assist and support in asset procurement, including obtaining quotes, purchasing, and vendor management.
* Assist in budgeting for ICT-related expenditures.
* Collaborate with vendors and service providers for ICT maintenance.
* Keep up to date with technological advancements by recommending upgrades and enhancements.
* Provide support to the GM Finance and ICT as required
Essential Criteria:
* A demonstrated commitment to the core mission of Wunan
* 2+ years of experience in ICT support and asset management support.
* Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking technologies.
* Familiarity with data security protocols and disaster recovery procedures.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, cloud services, and other productivity software.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
Desirable criteria:
* A strong understanding of Indigenous people in general, and of Indigenous people and communities in the East Kimberley in particular
* Experience with asset management systems and practices.
Pre-employment requirements
* Satisfactory Criminal History Check (not older than 6 months)
* Current Working with children clearance
* Current Australian unrestricted ‘C’ class Driver’s license
