ABOUT THE POSITION.
Join immediately in this 12 month contract as an Executive Assistant, due to secondment. Work alongside the Director of Corporate and Community to provide general clerical and administrative tasks, be the first point of contact for all related enquiries.
DUTIES.
Amend and create policies, procedures and forms where needed
Co-ordinate and liaise internal staff to arrange schedule meetings and events
Develop and revise operating and administrative procedures as required
Prepare correspondence and sports such as letters, agendas, reports and minutes accurately
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
Prior experience in an administrative role is essential
Previous experience working within Local Government is highly desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as time management skills
Working knowledge of MS Office, Authority/Civica and Trim is highly desirable
