Job Title: Carpentry Trainer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Trainer to join our team of educators. As a key member of our training team, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of hands-on learners.
Job Description:
Our ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in Carpentry or Building & Construction and be qualified to deliver the 22614VIC Certificate II program. You will work with students in Years 10–12 enrolled in VETDSS, VCE Vocational Major, or VPC programs, fostering safe, engaging, real-world learning environments in classrooms and workshops.
Key responsibilities include delivering practical, hands-on carpentry training, working collaboratively with a supportive training team, and traveling between a small group of schools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade qualification in Carpentry or Building & Construction
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or nearing completion
* Experience teaching in VET, TAFE, or senior secondary settings (preferred)
