About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients develop, recover, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. Your comprehensive assessments will inform the development of individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each client's needs.
* You will conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
* Develop and implement therapeutic interventions, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
* Educate clients and their families about strategies and techniques to support independence and improve quality of life.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply (completed stage 1 desktop assessment).
3. English proficiency.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
