Blueline Laundry is seeking Cleaners to join the Hobart team on a casual basis.
About the Role
Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisors, the Cleaner is responsible for:
* To perform duties associated with the maintaining a clean work environment;
* To clean and maintain the physical appearance of work areas and offices to a high standard including the removal of rubbish;
* Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas including bathrooms (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting as required and instructed);
* To clean or assist Laundry Workers with the cleaning of equipment;
* The safe handling and appropriate storage of cleaning related chemicals;
* Maintain and order chemicals, supplies and equipment as required;
* Sanitising surfaces in line with protocols for preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
* Providing and maintaining a safe work environment for all people.

* Ability and passion to encourage and support all staff to be the best they can be and have a commitment to work with everyone to achieve this.
* Successfully undertaken the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
* Sound communication skills;
Desirable qualifications
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not necessary. Training will be provided.
A Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card with NDIS Worker Clearance and National Police Check are essential requirements of this position. A pre-employment medical will also be required prior to commencement as this is a manual position.
