What you'll be responsible for
* Ensuring all maintenance requirements for fixed plant and equipment are coordinated as well as planning maintenance activities
* Establishing maintenance programs and safety procedures for all maintenance activities
* Managing maintenance programs to maximise life cycle, serviceability and availability of equipment.
* Monitoring maintenance costs and making recommendations for improvement.
* Developing and strengthening key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
* Drive a Safety first work culture that ensures an incident and injury-free work environment.
* Maintain accurate and consistent maintenance records for all plant and equipment, utilising Veolia´s CMMS system.
What you'll need to be successful
* Trade qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical or similar
* 3+ years of fitting experience
* Experience in waste operations is desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment & fault finding techniques
* Experience in working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Ability to solve problems
* Previous experience of team management desirable
