Overview
This role is part of the Occupational Therapy team within the South Metropolitan Mental Health Service's Fremantle Adult Acute unit. The Assistant will work under the direction of the Occupational Therapist or delegate to support the planning and implementation of individual and group recovery programmes for clients in the acute setting, ensuring alignment with SMHS policies and guidelines to promote patient safety and quality of care.
Responsibilities
Assist with planning and implementing individual and group recovery programmes for clients in an acute setting, working under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist or delegate. Undertake duties in accordance with SMHS policies and guidelines to facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care.
Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed‐term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
