Leading Hand / Foreman – Commercial Construction A well-established commercial builder with a strong pipeline of work across the Perth metro area is looking to appoint an experienced Leading Hand / Foreman to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified carpenter who enjoys being hands-on, leading from the front, and working on well-run commercial projects with a supportive site team.
The Role
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating trades, maintaining program, and ensuring quality delivery on site. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising day-to-day site activities and subcontractors
* Hands-on carpentry works where required
* Driving productivity and keeping works on schedule
* Maintaining high standards of safety and quality
* Assisting with site logistics, deliveries, and coordination
* Communicating effectively with site teams and management
About You
* Trade qualified (Carpentry preferred)
* Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman on commercial projects
* Strong knowledge of construction processes and sequencing
* Ability to lead from the front and get the best out of subcontractors
* Solid understanding of WA safety standards and site procedures
* Reliable, team-oriented, and takes pride in quality workmanship
