What will you be doing?
* Providing end‐to‐end management and advocacy for Group Risk claims, including SCI/GIP, Life and TPD.
* Acting as the primary advocate for clients, ensuring claims are progressed efficiently and in the client's best interests.
* Interpreting policy terms, assessing coverage, exclusions and offsets, and providing clear, confident coverage positions.
* Working closely with insurers to drive timely claim assessments and outcomes, including managing escalations where required.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
* Facilitating and contributing to Claims Report meetings with clients and insurers.
* Monitoring regulatory, legislative and insurance law developments relevant to Group Risk claims.
* Supporting employers with intervention, absence management and claims process improvement initiatives.
* Reviewing and implementing claims process efficiencies to improve client outcomes.
* Mentoring and supporting developing Claims Associates within the team.
* Maintaining accurate and compliant claims records within broker management and document management systems.
You will need the following experience and qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience managing Group Risk claims, including SCI / Group Income Protection, Life and TPD, ideally within a broker, insurer or specialist claims advocacy environment.
* Strong understanding of policy terms, claims governance and regulatory obligations.
* Allied Health background desirable, but not essential.
